The Situation:
New hire onboarding was handled differently across departments, causing confusion, delays, and missed steps.
The Approach:
I stepped in to coordinate onboarding tasks across multiple departments (Tech, HR, Facilities), build onboarding calendars, maintain the new hire grid, and serve as a bridge between recruiters and operations. I also supported HR tech trainings and improved internal tracking systems.
The Outcome:
Onboarding flow became clearer and more consistent
New hires received all equipment and calendar invites on time
Internal stakeholders had better visibility into who was starting and when
